ATM Thieves Caught Red-Handed

Several individuals who tried to literally take an ATM in Texarkana, Arkansas were caught in the act by police.

Here is the News Release from the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department:

Officers of the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to a call at 2345 Trinity Blvd, Texarkana, AR, Red River Credit Union.

Upon arrival Officer Bryan arrived to see the suspects attempting to open the money canisters of the ATM. Two suspects ran toward Woodline Dr. but were apprehended after a foot pursuit by Officer Byran and Officer Derrick.

It was determined the suspects were allegedly driving a car that had been stolen from Forest Bend Lane to break into the ATM. Officers recovered all money and the stolen vehicle used by the suspects.

20-year-old Treveyon Vankieth Dargin and a 16-year-old male of Houston, TX were charged with breaking and entering, criminal mischief 1st degree, 4 counts theft of property, engaging in criminal gang organization, and fleeing.
