Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson says the overall trends as far as Covid-19 continue to look good.

This even though the number of positive cases did go up just a bit in the last 24 hours. The Governor met with local officials including Miller County Judge Cathy Hardin Harrison and Texarkana Mayor Allen Brown.

They discussed the area’s response to the Coronavirus outbreak and how to continue forward with the loosening of restrictions, while keeping the citizens safe.

The Governor did say that on May 18th he will allow the three gaming casinos in Arkansas to re-open with social distancing in place and a 33% occupancy capacity to begin with.

Also, a decision will be made later this month on kids outdoor summer activities including team sports such as baseball.
