First I went to a local Mexican restaurant Friday night and got carry out. Seemed there we a lot of folks doing the same. There were even a few brave souls dining in.
After I got my food I went home and ate and then watched something on Disney+. Saturday I got up early and went to Walmart to see what I could find that I needed to help make my weekend more complete.
I also got 2 movies to watch from a Redbox. I got the new Jumanji movie and the Harriet Tubman movie. Both were good and I enjoyed them and recommend them. I just wish they did not feel that every movie these days has to have such bad language. It often adds nothing to the movie. But if you can handle the language I think you would enjoy seeing both movies.
One is total escapism fiction. The other a historical retelling of how Harriet Tubman was able to lead so many southern slaves to freedom before the Civil War. I learned things I did not know about Harriet Tubman. It was time well spent watching the movie.
Sunday I returned the movies and picked up some KFC and napped most of the afternoon. That was How I spent My Weekend. How did you spend yours?
