Here is your chance to enjoy some good chili and meet the candidates running for office this year in Bowie County.
Its the Meet the Candidates Chili Supper & Straw Poll that is happening Saturday night, February 15th in New Boston. The event is sponsored by the New Boston Chamber of Commerce. The proceeds from the chili supper benefit the New Boston Volunteer Fire Department.
The chili supper gets underway at 5pm at the New Boston High School Auditorium located at #1 Lion Drive.
The Meet the Candidates event officially starts at 6pm. It’s a chance to meet the various candidates running for office this year, and ask questions. You will also get to hear from those running for office and vote for the candidate of your choice.
It’s a good way to be a more informed voter this election cycle.
