The Texarkana Texas Parks and Recreation Department presents Movies in The Park this Thursday night June 18th at Spring Lake Park.
The movie series which usually begins in May was delayed this year by Covid-19 restrictions. However now that some of that is behind us, the city will be having a shorten schedule of show nights.
This Thursday night at dusk they will show the most recent Lion King movie. Next Thursday June 25th will be Frozen 2. Admission is free, and families are encouraged.
Enjoy movies under the stars. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. The concession stand will be open as well.
All they are asking is that you remember to please practice social distancing with people who are not with your family or group.
You are also invited to come early and enjoy the other features at the park, including the walking trail, playgrounds and picnic tables.
